The excavator and our builders were here today to fix the flooding in the basement. Mike says it isn't a flooding situation. He says it is just a leak that occurs when it is raining outside. Whatever it is, it is a nuisance and it can't be doing our home any good. Once it starts to rain we have to keep swapping out towels along the basement wall to sop up the water before it damages the floor or the dry wall.
The weather forecast says 100% chance of rain on Thanksgiving. I am so thankful they were able to fix the leak today - the day before Thanksgiving!
