Buddy goes to the spa

Buddy's hair is falling out.  We don't know why so we have an appointment at the vet later in the week.  In the meantime though, Mike and Suzanne felt he would benefit from a bath.  I readily agreed since they were sneaking him into the house and he was shedding all over the place.  Mike suggested we all get in the truck and head over to Club Pet.

Buddy enthusiastically awaiting a trip to the four legged spa.
Gracie too was in the truck.  She was determined not to miss out
on whatever was happening.

When we arrived at the spa (which is next to the car wash), we found out that it didn't accept coins, was out of soap, and the dryer didn't work.  We also found Buddy reluctant to go up the ramp onto the dog washing platform.

Mike told Suzanne to get on the ramp and coax Buddy.
When that didn't work, Mike picked Buddy up and
placed him on the table.
Once Buddy was on the table and we borrowed dollar bills from Suzanne, we were ready to begin the dog spa process.  Mike fed money into the machine and manned the controls, Suzanne did the actual work and I photographed the process.

Suzanne wetting down Buddy's hair.
Yes, the water hose was working and it was warm.

Fortunately, we had the foresight to bring our own shampoo.

Buddy being rinsed.

Buddy being hand dried.
Absolutely no problem getting Buddy to go down the ramp once the bath was over.
He not only exited the spa with alacrity
but he made a beeline for the truck and jumped into it before we had the
door fully opened.
Gracie had watched the entire process.  We had run out of dollar bills after washing Buddy so she didn't get the spa experience.

Nevertheless, she apparently found Club Pet to be an exhilarating adventure.
She had to go home and take a nap.
