Suzanne's vacation at the pond

I was afraid Suzanne was going to be bored at the pond.  After all, she lives in the big city of Dallas.  Mike and I tried to keep her busy but there is only so much to do at the pond.

Theoretically, Suzanne likes animals.  In actuality, she dislikes my chickens, is neutral about my ducks and I think she dislikes Gracie, my dog.
That left Mabel and Buddy for her to play with but Mabel spent most of her days hunting.
As a result, Suzanne gave Buddy at lot of attention which he loved.
Suzanne did work on some projects for me.
She decorated my fall tree and she cut out fabric for an apron I want to make for her.
To make up for 'putting her to work', I took her to tea at 2Martha's.

Of course, we had to take Suzanne to Aunt Kathy's favorite store, Buchheits.
If Aunt Kathy likes it then everyone will like it.
This time when we went, they had baby chicks.

Mike and I took Suzanne to the opening day of the new Peanuts movie.
She loved it.
We went to the matinee (4 pm) showing at the Greenville Globe Theater.
We were three of about twenty people in the theater
and it only cost $5 a seat.
We were then able to splurge on pizza at Joe's.
However, it was so crowded we got it to go.
Later in the week, we headed to St. Louis where we met up with Laura and her visitor from Columbia, Missouri, Michelle.
Suzanne picked our restaurant.  It was called the Kitchen Sink and it was near Forest Park.
Doesn't Suzanne's hair look particularly nice?

Afterwards, the girls went to a local art spot where they created these Christmas decorations.
Michelle's is in the middle.
Can you tell which ones are Laura's and which ones are Suzanne's?

Then Suzanne spent the last night of her visit at Laura's apartment with
Laura, Michelle and Blackie.
According to Laura, Suzanne and Blackie were the 'party animals' and stayed up so late they ended up falling asleep
together on the couch and never made it to bed.

When Suzanne left she said she had a good time but just to be on the safe side, I am already working on an itinerary for her next visit.  I just read an article that said there is a winery opening in Greenville.  I think we will definitely check that out.
