Cedarhurst Arts and Craft Festival

Emily, Laura and I met up at the 40th annual Cedarhurst Arts and Crafts festival in Mount Vernon this weekend.  It was about equal distance from our three homes and two of us thought it was a lot of fun. Guess who did not think it was a lot of fun?  Use the pictures below as clues to the answer.

However, Laura's attitude improved around lunch time.  She had a pulled pork sandwich and I discovered Ribbon Fries.   They are also called Black and Decker fries for reasons that should become obvious when you look at the pictures.
They use an electric hand drill attached to a cutting machine.  It creates a continuous paper thin ribbon of potatoes that are then fried.  I am definitely ordering these again the next chance I get.

So, hopefully, I can get Emily to go to the 41st annual Cedarhurst Arts and Crafts festival next year.  If not, though, I think I might be able to talk Mike into attending.  I tracked down a Starbucks close to the fair in the local Kroger and the ribbon fries will provide an additional inducement.
