Changing of the Seasons

I know summer is over when....

The calendar says Fall began September 22.

The mums are available for sale in the local stores and they are blooming at my house.

The azaleas bloom for the second time this year.

Steam starts rises from the pond on cold mornings.

The owner of the Woburn Christmas lights display starts putting up the Christmas vignette boxes once again.  Note:  the actual displays remained covered until Thanksgiving weekend.

The Buchheit ad and store displays gear up for hunting season.

Too bad Emily has moved to California and is missing all of this!
