Visitors to the Pond

Emily organized a Labor Day Fun Day at the pond.  She invited some friends from college to attend.

Of course, first we had to get ready.  I planned the menus and Emily, Mike and Laura got out the backyard games (left over from the wedding) and cleaned off the pond equipment.  Actually even the guests had to help with that.  We ended up sending Mason and Matthew off to hunt down the paddle board which had floated down to the Y after the last rain storm.  And later Mason and Emily tried to blaze a RZR path through the bean field for the rest of us to use.

Dana, Mason, Matthew, Emily and Laura still found plenty of time to play though, both on the water and off.

We even had an outdoor fire and Lilly got to participate in her first s'more cook out.  

There was down time too.  The new basement television was very popular with Emily's guests and Connor's family.

Hopefully, everyone had a fun time and went back to work on Tuesday well rested.
