Holiday Photo Ops

As soon as the Thanksgiving meal was over, I began thinking about Christmas.

The first thing I did was start a new Peterson Christmas tradition based on a Spilsbury tradition I observed last year.  Last year Jonna Spilsbury supervised her kids and mine in creating a gingerbread village.  This year, I decided to try the same thing although we ended up making a gingerbread train.  We have to admit that our results were not the same caliber as hers (although in our defense our kit was missing a few pieces and we did not resort to using a glue gun like they do).   Nevertheless, Laura and, Emily's former college roommate, Dana, had fun.

Then Laura Peterson got the whole group together, including dogs, and organized group pictures.  The dogs got to wear Christmas gear.  Dana used her spiffy camera to capture a lot of these shots.  Just looking at these pictures puts me in the Christmas spirit.
