Pictures of Spring 2020
Here is an up close and personal picture of an apple blossom. The large apple tree in my garden has provided a lot of beauty this spring. Mike can see it when he feeds the chickens and I can view it even from as far away as my office window.
Mike caught a six pound bass now that he has resumed fishing. He caught it with a Hula Popper which is a classic lure that his grandpa first taught him to use.
Here he is calling expert fishing champion and Bass Pro Shop fishing advisor Scott Sautman to tell him how he caught this fish without any of the newest paraphernalia.
Kitty checking out the jeep which rivals Kitty for Mike's affections.
Mike checked out the moose statue located off of I70 near Pocohantas. The moose is practicing correct social distancing by wearing a mask.
Mike and I took our annual foliage boat trip around the pond so I could get pictures for the blog. Before we went I took pictures from the dam...
and of the four legged animals hanging around.
Mike gave me a nice relaxing tour of the pond. For the first time ever I got to float down both sides of the Y. This is a picture from the left side.
I took many pictures of the white dogwoods blooming while on my boat tour but I choose to use this one. It is a picture of the dogwood found in the front of our house.
Of course, no photo album of spring at the pond is complete without some pictures of our farmers at work. Just the other day they were here tilling our ground for what Mike and I assume will be a corn crop.
Stay tuned for more spring photos!
